Experienced Breeder

Blending my role as a devoted mother and caregiver with a lifelong passion for animals this has given me the experience and dedication needed to raise puppies ideally suited for emotional support, providing comfort and companionship. As part of our retired military family breeding program, I go above and beyond to deliver exceptional care and individualized attention throughout each puppy’s early development.

At PupsByMel, our mission is to place outstanding emotional support puppies exclusively in lifelong homes. We are deeply committed to honoring this responsibility by carefully and thoughtfully matching each puppy with their forever family.

Happy, Healthy Bloodline

Our commitment to the wellbeing of our puppies includes having them examined by a licensed veterinarian at 8 weeks old, where they are given their first shots and dewormer. Additionally, you will be provided with a Florida health certificate showing that our vet has inspected and passed our puppies. To further support their health, our breeding dogs are genetically tested through Embark and Wisdom to help minimize hereditary defects or diseases. A two-year health guarantee contract is provided and signed by both parties.

ENS exercises and training.

At PupsByMel, each puppy is raised with hands-on care, helping them grow into gentle and affectionate companions.

Purpose: Helps develop the nervous system so puppies handle stress, new environments, and stimuli better.

- Exercises: Typically include gentle handling techniques such as:

Tactile stimulation (touching the paws, face, and body)
Head lifts or gentle balancing exercises
Short periods of mild stress (like holding upside down briefly)
Thermal stimulation (exposing briefly to cool or warm surfaces)

Can a person with allergies adopt one of your puppies?

We understand allergy concerns and strive to be as accommodating as possible. By specializing in non-shedding, hypoallergenic breeds, we aim to make puppy companionship more comfortable for individuals with sensitivities.

What is the process of reserving a puppy before it’s time?

Reserving a puppy before release requires a $500 non-refundable deposit. Once the deposit is received, you’ll be provided with an invoice detailing the final cost, along with helpful instructions and tips to prepare for bringing your new furry family member home.

Can you deliver to other states?

Yes! Nanny services are available for your puppy’s travel needs. Your puppy’s safety and comfort are always our top priority, with personalized care and supervision provided throughout the journey. While we do prefer local placements so you can meet us and your puppy in person, but we completely understand the love people can have for our puppies even from afar.

Puppies and Picture day:

Our puppy photo sessions are scheduled for 2, 4, and 6 weeks of age. We prioritize their comfort and safety above all else. When they're in the mood, we take the best possible pictures while ensuring their happiness and well-being at all times. Please understand that as they become more active, it can be challenging to capture perfect photos.

Explain temperaments?

Calm but playful – They enjoy playtime but also settle easily and aren’t overly hyper.
Confident, not fearful – Curious about new people, sounds, and environments without being anxious or timid.
Affectionate without being clingy – Loving and people-oriented, yet comfortable being independent.
Adaptable – They adjust well to new routines, homes, and changes.
Gentle & stable – Less likely to show excessive barking, aggression, or nervous behaviors.
Easier to train – Focused, responsive, and willing to learn.
